The NEET 2026 registration for admission to all undergraduate medical courses in India is expected to start soon at neet.nta.nic.in. In 2025, the registration form for the exam was started on February 7. Therefore, NTA is likely to release the NEET 2026 registration form in the first week of February 2026.

The NEET 2026 exam will be conducted for admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) and BSc Nursing courses.

Qualifications

  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects are eligible.

  • Candidates appearing for Class 12 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects are also eligible; however, they must produce their Class 12 passing certificate and marksheet at the time of counselling.

  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from Open Schools or as private candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English are also eligible for NEET 2026.

  • Additionally, candidates who studied Biology or Biotechnology as an additional subject along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English can apply for the exam.

Age limit

  • The candidate who has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before December 31 of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course.

  • There is no upper limit to apply for NEET 2026.

Steps to fill out NEET UG 2026 Application Form

Once the NEET 2026 registration/application form is available on the official NEET website, candidates need to follow the steps given below to fill it out.

  1. Go to neet.nta.nic.in.

  2. Click on the registration option.

  3. Read the instructions carefully and click on agree button.

  4. Enter the required details and generate a password.

  5. Enter the OTP to verify the entered details.

  6. Log in with the registration details provided via email/SMS.

  7. Fill the application form.

  8. Pay the NEET 2026 registration fee.

  9. Submit the form and download the registration form as PDF.
