The NEST 2026 exam was conducted today (June 6, 2026) at various test centres across India in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination will be held in the English language. The question paper will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions.
Through NEST 2026, candidates can apply for admission to the 5-year Integrated MSc programmes offered by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
