The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have officially released the IAT 2026 Result today, June 29, 2026 on the official webiste for the candidates who had taken the exam on June 7, 2026. Test Takers can now access and download their IAT 2026 scorecard by logging into the IISER Admissions Portal using their registered credentials. The result includes the candidate's total marks, subject-wise scores, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and qualifying status, which will be used for the upcoming counselling and seat allotment process.
The IAT 2026 result has been compiled based on the final answer key released by the exam authorities after considering the valid objections submitted by candidates during the provisional answer key objection window. Following the declaration of the results, candidates will use their IAT 2026 scorecard (rank card) to secure admission to the participating institutes through the counselling process.
Candidates meeting the IAT 2026 cut-off will be offered admission to the five-year BS-MS, four-year BS, and BTech programmes offered by IISc Bangalore, IISERs, IACS, and other participating institutes.
IAT 2026 Result Released
Candidates can now log in to the official IISER Admissions portal to view their results. The scorecard is available only through the candidate login, and no offline scorecards will be issued. As shown on the official candidate dashboard, the scorecard download link has been activated, allowing candidates to download their result directly after logging in.
The IAT 2026 scorecard serves as the official document for admission and will be required throughout the counselling process.

How to Download IAT 2026 Scorecard?
Candidates can follow these simple steps:
Visit the official IISER Admissions portal.
Click on the Candidate Login- https://g06.tcsion.com/EForms/loginAction.do?subAction=ViewLoginPage&formId=98100&orgId=2245
Enter your registered Email ID/User ID and Password.
Log in to your dashboard.
Open the Score Card section.
Click on the Download Scorecard link.
Save the PDF and take a printout for future admission purposes.

IAT 2026 Counselling Process
Register for Counselling: Log in to the official IISER admissions portal and complete the counselling registration.
Fill Preferred Choices: Select your preferred IISERs and programmes during the choice-filling process.
Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on IAT rank, category, preferences, and seat availability.
Accept the Seat: Candidates allotted a seat must confirm it by paying the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) before the deadline.
Upload Documents: Submit the required documents, including the IAT 2026 scorecard, Class 10 & 12 certificates, category/PwD certificate (if applicable), and a valid photo ID.
