NEET 2026 Registration Ends Today at neet.nta.nic.in; Check Eligibility, Fees & Exam Dates

The NEET 2026 Application portal will be closed today, March 11, 2026. National Testing Agency, NTA, has earlier extended the NEET UG 2026 registration dates from March 8, 2026, to March 11, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied must complete the application process through the official website before the deadline ends. The registration link is available on the official portal at https://neet.nta.nic.in.

As per the official notice released by NTA, candidates can submit the NEET 2026 application form until 9:00 PM today, while the fee payment window will remain open until 11:50 PM. Aspirants are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues due to heavy traffic on the portal.

The NEET UG exam is the national-level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical programmes such as MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and BSc Nursing in medical institutions across India. The exam is conducted annually by NTA for admission to medical colleges approved by the relevant authorities.

How to Apply for NEET 2026

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the NEET UG 2026 registration:

1. Visit the official website – https://neet.nta.nic.in.

2. Click on the NEET UG 2026 Registration link.

3. Register using basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number.

4. Log in using the generated credentials.

5. Fill in personal, academic, and contact details in the application form.

6. Upload required documents, including a photograph and signature.

7. Pay the application fee through online payment modes.

8. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

Candidates are advised to keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

It is very important for candidates applying for medical courses through the NEET exam to meticulously go through the NEET UG 2026 eligibility criteria to avoid losing their candidature at any stage of the admission process.

• He/She has completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year that the candidate shall be appearing for NEET-UG examination. Candidates must note that there is no upper age limit for them to appear for the exam.

• Students who have completed Class 12 with Biology or Biotechnology as an additional subject, along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, are eligible to appear for the exam. While submitting the NEET 2026 application form online, candidates must select the appropriate qualifying examination code based on their academic qualifications.
