NEET 2026 Registration Extended Till March 11; NTA Reopens Application Window at neet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the NEET 2026 registration deadline for providing admissions to the in undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BVSc, and other related programmes Candidates who have not yet applied for the national-level medical entrance exam can now submit their NEET 2026 application form until March 11, 2026 by 9:00 PM on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

Earlier, the last date to complete the application process was March 8, 2026, but the agency decided to extend the deadline by three days after receiving requests from students who were facing technical issues and difficulties during the application process.

With this extension, medical aspirants now have another opportunity to complete their registrations and submit the required documents online. However, the testing agency has also advised candidates to complete the application process within the revised timeline, as no further extension is expected. The last date to pay the NEET 2026 registration fee is March 11, 2026, till 11:50 PM.

Candidates must complete all steps of the application process, including registration, uploading documents, and fee payment, before the deadline. Only candidates who successfully pay the registration fee will be considered to have completed the application process.

NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• He/She has completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year that the candidate shall be appearing for NEET-UG examination. Candidates must note that there is no upper age limit for them to appear for the exam.
