Scholarships and Fellowships offered by IISC:

Many scholarships are provided to IISc students. For undergraduate students, scholarships like INSPIRE are provided starting from their first year. In the case of M.Tech, M.Des, or M.Tech (Res), scholarships are awarded for a maximum of two years; in the case of Ph.D. programs, fellowships are awarded for five years. 

Upon enrollment in the M.Tech/M.Des programs, students automatically consent to and guarantee that they won’t drop out of the course in the middle. If a student must withdraw from the course early for an unforeseen circumstance, they must return the full scholarship amount before departing the institute.
