IISER Aptitude Test 2027: Exam Notification, Eligibility, Application, Pattern, Syllabus & Admission Process

IISER Exam 2027 will be conducted to provide admission to the integrated BS-MS degree, BS and BTech degree courses offered at IISc Bangalore, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, 7 IISERs, IACS and IIEST, Shibpur Research Institutes across the nation.

Candidates who are in class 12 or droppers meeting the IISER Eligibility Criteria 2027 will be able to apply for the application form. The exam officials will release the IISER Exam Notification 2027 in the first week of February, tentatively.

The exam will be held to test the candidate’s domain knowledge in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from the specified IISER 2027 syllabus by the exam officials.

When will the IISER 2027 notification be released?

Every year, the exam officials release the IISER Exam Notification mentioning the exam date, application form start date and other important relevant information. Since the exam officials are yet to release the exam notification for the academic session 2027-2028, however, based on the previous year trends, it is highly anticipated that the IISER exam notification 2027 will be released in the first week of February 2027.

What is the IISER 2027 Admission Process?

In order to have hassle-free admission to the courses offered, a candidate must be completely aware of the IISER 2027 admission process. Basically, the admission process is combined with all the events or the timeline right from making the registration till the counselling process, where a candidate is allotted a seat.

IISER 2027 Application Form

IISER registration form 2027 will be released online in the month of March 2027, tentatively. Class 12 droppers and appearing students will be able to fill out the IISER application form 2027 by making a registered account, filling in the details asked for, choosing exam cities, uploading documents, and paying the IISER 2027 registration fee.

IISER Exam Pattern 2027

As per  IISER exam pattern 2027, the exam officials will test the candidates knowledge in the concerned subject in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There will be a total of 60 MCQ questions that the examiners ask, with 15 questions from each section, namely, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
The IISER 2027 exam will be held in online mode/computer-based for a duration of three hours, or 180 minutes. According to the IISER 2027 shift timings, the exam will be conducted in one shift, the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM.

IISER Syllabus 2027

Candidates must prepare for the exam through the specified IISER syllabus 2027. Exam officials will release the syllabus has been released at iiseradmission.in. The exam questions will be asked from the topics mentioned in the Class 11 and 12 NCERT books on physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology subjects. Candidates are suggested to thoroughly go through the topics mentioned in the IISER syllabus. IISER Admit Card 2027

Candidates who had earlier successfully filled out the registration form and paid the application fee will only be able to download the IAT Admit Card 2027. The exam officials released the IISER Hall Ticket 2027 on May 26, 2027 at iiseradmission.in, and candidates will be able to download the admit card PDF by logging in to their registered accounts.
The IAT Hall Ticket 2027 will contain important information, including the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, exam date, shift timing, and exam centre address details.

How to Download IISER Admit Card 2027?

To download the IAT 2027 admit card, a candidate needs to follow the steps below:

Step 1: First, a candidate needs to visit the official website of IISER admissions 2027.

Step 2: On the official website, candidates will be able to see the “Admit Card” tab on the home screen; click on it.

Step 3: The window will take them to their registered account portal.

Step 4: Log in to their registered account with the help of login credentials, ie, username and password.

Step 5: Click on the “Download Admit Card” tab shown on the screen.

Step 6: Download the IISER admit card 2027 and take out 2-3 printouts of the admit card for future use.

IISER 2027 Exam Analysis

IISER 2027 Answer Key

IAT Answer Key 2027 is available for download on the official IISER admission website – iiseradmission.in. The answer key carries the correct answers for the questions asked in the IISER 2027 exam.
At first the exam officials will release the IISER 2027 provisional answer key, which is subject to raising objections. Based on the objections received by the candidates against the answer earlier provided, if found valid, the same question will get dropped. Corrections will be done in the provisional answer key, and the exam officials will later release the IISER 2027 final answer key.

IISER Result 2027

IISER 2027 result is anticipated to be released in the fourth week of June 2027. The exam officials will compile the result based on the IISER final answer key 2027. Once the result is released, candidates are no longer to raise any objections.

The exam officials will issue the IAT rankcard 2027 in the form of results, where the candidates will be given AIR/category ranks.
