IIT JAM 2026 admit card will be released by IIT Bombay on the official website on January 5, 2026. Successfully registered candidates will be able to download the IIT JAM 2026 hall ticket by logging in to their registered accounts on the JOAPS portal.

JAM 2026 is scheduled to be held on February 15, 2026, at various exam centres across the nation. The exam will be conducted in two shifts with the JAM 2026 Shift Timings from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, in online/CBT mode. Each shift will be of three hours.

Candidates' domain knowledge will be tested as per the JAM 2026 syllabus in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Economics, Geology, and Mathematical Statistics.

As per the IIT JAM 2026 exam pattern, candidates’ knowledge will be assessed through MCQs, MSQs, and NAT-type questions, with negative marking applicable. IIT JAM 2026 Registration

IIT JAM 2026 Application form will be made live on the official website from September 5, 2026 onwards. Interested applicants will be required to create a registered account on the JOAPS portal, ie., jam2026.iitb.ac.in. This process will require the candidate's name, e-mail id, mobile number and setting a password. Upon successful registration, candidates will be allowed to fill out the IIT JAM application form 2026 from the registered account.

What is JOAPS portal?

JOAPS provides an online interface to the candidate for interacting with the JAM 2026 administration. With this interface, candidates need to upload documents, exam city preference, educational details.
