Eligibility for NEST 2025:
The criteria are straightforward.
- If you passed your 12th grade (or equivalent) in 2023 or 2024, or if you’re sitting for it in 2025, you qualify to apply. You need at least 60% aggregate marks in your Class XII exams from any recognized Indian board. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Divyangjan candidates, the threshold lowers slightly to 55%. Also, securing a good rank on the NEST merit list is non-negotiable.
- There’s no upper age limit to appear for the exam or gain admission — so your dreams aren’t confined by time.
- Applying for NEST 2025 is done here: www.nestexam.in — the official portal — and hit that registration button.
- You’ll need to share some personal details:
- Your full name, date of birth,
- email ID, mobile number,
- Class X roll number.
- These details must exactly match your certificates because you won’t be able to change them later.
- After registering, expect your login credentials via email within half an hour.
- Once you get those, log in and fill out your application. You can save your progress and return anytime before submitting.
- The portal’s HELPDESK is your friend — submit queries with a screenshot if necessary, or reach out via phone if tech gremlins show up.
