The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 provisional answer key for BE/BTech papers on April 11, 2026, on its official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Candidates will have the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key, if needed, through an online process within a specified time frame. A fee will be charged for each challenge submitted. The fee is INR 200 per question (objection/challenge), and it is non-refundable.

The NTA has released a notification after the conclusion of the JEE Main 2026 April session, stating that the provisional answer key for BE/BTech papers will be released on April 11, 2026, on the official JEE Main website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
To download the provisional answer keys, use the following steps:
Visit the official website of JEE Main – jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Click on the "Answer Key for JEE (Main)-2026 [Session-II] [Paper-1 (B.E/B.Tech)]".
Enter your JEE Main 2026 application number and password.
Enter the provided CAPTCHA code.

How to Challenge the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Provisional Answer Key
The NTA will provide candidates with a window to challenge the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 provisional answer key. To challenge the JEE Main provisional answer key 2026, follow the steps below:
Go to the official JEE Main website – http://jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Click on the answer key link.
Log in to your candidate account using your JEE Main application number and password.
Click on the objection form link and fill it out with the right details.
Pay the objection fee of INR 200 per objection.
Note: To challenge each JEE Main 2026 answer key, candidates will have to pay an objection fee of INR 200 per objection online.
When will the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Final Answer Key be released?
The NTA has not yet announced the official date for the release of the final answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 2. It will be released after the answer key challenge process is completed.
