The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 today, March 12. Candidates who have already submitted their NCET 2026 application form can now make corrections through the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/ncet. The NCET 2026 Application Correction portal will remain available until March 14, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).

Candidates who had successfully registered for the NCET application form 2026 and committed some mistakes will be able to edit the incorrect details filled during the NCET 2026 correction window facility. Candidates are advised to review their application carefully and make the necessary changes within the given timeframe, as no further correction requests will be entertained after the deadline.

The NCET 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 17, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered by participating universities and institutions across India.

Details That Can Be Edited in NCET 2026 Application Form

During the correction period, candidates can modify several details in their submitted application form. Some of the commonly editable fields include:

  • Parents’ names

  • Date of birth and gender

  • Category and sub-category/PwBD details

  • Class 10 and Class 12 academic details

  • Exam city preferences

  • Subject/test selection

  • Programme, university, or course preferencessc

However, certain details cannot be modified during the correction process. These include the registered mobile number, email ID, and address, which remain fixed once the application form is submitted.

Candidates should carefully check all the information entered in the form and ensure that it matches their official documents to avoid issues during the admission process.
