NCET 2026 Participating Institutes: Skilled and knowledgeable educators are assets to the nation, as they provide knowledge to students. This knowledge helps them to build promising careers and develop skills that contribute to national well-being. Therefore, it is important for the Indian government to identify eligible candidates for admission to the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) offered at IITs, NITs, RIEs, and other government colleges. For this purpose, the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) is conducted.
The NCET 2026 will be held on April 17, 2026 for admissions to BScBEd, BABEd, BComBEd, and other related courses. A total of 223 prestigious institutes, including NITs, IITs, RIEs, and government colleges across different states, will accept admissions to these 4-year Integrated Education Programmes through the exam.

NCET 2026 Overview
As mentioned above, the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to 5 Indian Institutes of Technology, 5 National Institutes of Technology, 4 Regional Institutes of Education, and 209 other government colleges.
To get admission to the NCET 2026 participating institutes, candidates must qualify and score well in the exam. They should be aware of all the important details related to NCET before appearing for it. The exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 13 languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
There are 4 sections in NCET: Language, Domain-Specific Subject, General Test, and Teaching Subject.
