NCET 2026 participating institutes has been increased significantly, with 223 universities and colleges which are offering admissions through the NCET score. This expansion is expected to provide more opportunities to students seeking admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) across India.

The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) is conducted by NTA, National Testing Agency, for admission to ITEP courses in selected central, state, and government-recognised institutions like IITs, NITs, RIEs and other notable universities.

It is anticipated that there will be more institutions joining the admission process, making students to choose from a wider range of universities across different states.
