Eligibility:
The eligibility for IISc’s BS degree (Research) program is refreshingly clear yet precise.

- You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as your main subjects (that’s non-negotiable).
- Plus, a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in your board exams is essential—unless you fall under the SC/ST category, in which case a pass is good enough.
