CUET 2026 Overview
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level exam conducted for admission to undergraduate courses offered by more than 240 CUET 2026 participating institutes, including central universities, state universities, deemed universities, and private institutes.
The NTA has announced the CUET 2026 exam dates. The exam for CUET 2026 domain and language subjects will be conducted from May 11 to 31, 2026. If you wish to appear for CUET this year, you can check the overview of the exam below:

CUET 2026 Application Fees
The CUET 2026 application fees differ across categories. Moreover, the fees also depend on the number of subjects for which candidates wish to apply. Candidates can choose a maximum of five subjects from the 37 CUET subjects, including Domain Subjects, the General Aptitude Test, and Language Subjects. The fee increases with each additional subject selected, as per the candidate’s category.
For General category candidates, the CUET UG 2026 application fee is INR 1000 for one subject. If you choose more subjects, you will need to pay INR 400 for each additional subject.
For candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL and EWS categories, the CUET UG 2026 application fee is INR 900 for one subject. For every extra subject selected, an additional INR 375 per subject is charged.

Note: The CUET 2026 for “Centres Outside India” will be applicable to those candidates who appear for the CUET outside India. This includes NRIs and foreign nationals.
CUET 2026 Application Fees: Payment Method
The CUET application fee can only be paid online using net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI. Processing charges and GST, as applicable, are charged to candidates by the concerned bank or payment gateway integrator in addition to the examination/application fee.
How to pay CUET application fee
To pay the CUET 2026 application fee, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below.
1. Fill out CUET 2026 registration form
Visit the official CUET website – cuet.nta.nic.in.
Scroll down and click on the “Registration CUET (UG)–2026” link.
Fill out the registration form; you will receive login credentials via email and SMS.
2. Fill out CUET 2026 application form
Use the provided login credentials and log in by clicking on the “Already Registered Candidates” option.
Fill out the application form with the required details and submit it.
3. Pay the application fee
Once you complete the CUET 2026 application form, you can pay the application fee using net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.
After successful payment, candidates will be able to print the “Confirmation Page.”
Note:
In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and the candidates have to approach the concerned bank for refund of amount.
However, the candidate has to make another payment/transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
Any such cases of multiple payments (if any), will be reconciled by the NTA after the declaration of final result and will be refunded to the concerned candidates.

The CUET 2026 application fee is non-refundable. However, if candidates happen to make the payment multiple times, the NTA will refund the extra amount after the CUET 2026 result is declared.
CUET 2026 Application Correction Window
If candidates make mistakes while filling out the CUET 2026 application form, they will be given an opportunity to correct specific details during the application correction window. The CUET 2026 application correction facility will remain open from February 2 to 4, 2026, at cuet.nta.nic.in.
