First, complete the registration and pay the exam fee. Then, start your CUET preparation, download the admit card, and appear for the exam. Who Can Apply for CUET 2026?

To secure admission to the courses offered at CUET UG participating universities, one must satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting body and the participating institutes. Here are the minimal CUET UG eligibility criteria 2026 that a candidate must check from here:

CUET 2026 Educational Qualification

Students need to pass their Class 12 or appear for the Class 12 examination from a recognised board or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor’s degree programmes in the Central Universities.

CUET UG 2026 Age Limit

As per the information available in the information brochure, there is no age limit to appear for the CUET UG 2026 exam. Although the candidates are required to fulfil the age criteria of the participating university, they wish to take admission.

CUET UG Registration 2026

Candidates willing to take admissions to the bachelor’s degree courses need to fill out the CUET registration form 2026 in the first week of March 2026 onwards. CUET UG 2026 application form will be made online on the official website, i.e., cuet.nta.nic.in.

At first, candidates need to create a CUET registered account to fill the application form, and then from the registered account fill out the basic details asked, like personal details, address, educational details and document upload.

The application form will be accepted by the officials upon submission of the CUET UG registration fee.

CUET UG 2026 Marking Scheme

Before answering the questions asked in the examination hall, the candidate must know the marking scheme of the examination. Check out the CUET UG negative marking scheme from here:

1. For every right answer marked by the candidate in the exam, +5 marks will be awarded to the candidate.

2. For every incorrect answer marked by the candidates in the examination, -1 mark will be deducted from the candidate.

3. If the candidate has not answered any question or marked it as the “Unanswered/ Marked for Review”, no marks will be deducted.

4. If more than one correct answer is found by the exam officials in the question paper, +5 marks will be awarded for the candidates who have marked any of the options of the particular question.

CUET Admit Card 2026

Candidates who had earlier successfully filled out the registration form and paid the application fee will only be able to download the CUET Admit Card 2026.
