Can a PCB Student Appear for the IACS Exam?

Candidates who will be appearing for their Class 12 board exams in 2026 will be eligible to apply for the IACS UPST exam. However, the exam authorities have clearly stated that students studying in Class 12 must have Mathematics as one of their subjects, making it a compulsory requirement for eligibility.

How to Fill IACS 2026 Application Form

Admission to the BS-MS programme at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science is not a single-step process for the academic session 2026-2027. Candidates must complete the two essential stages mentioned:

1. Apply for the IISER Aptitude Test 2026

2. Fill out the separate application form on the IACS portal

Without completing both steps, your candidature for IACS admission will not be considered.

Step 1: Fill out the IISER Aptitude Test 2026 Application

For any candidate who is interested in securing admission to the BS-MS dual integrated degree programme offered at IACS, it is first necessary to fill out the IAT 2026 application form. Once registration is completed, you must go back to the login page and enter your registered mobile number to log in in order to fill out the IACS 2026 Application Form.

After filling out the registered mobile number, you will now be redirected to the main application form dashboard for the BS-MS 2026 programme.

Step 5: Fill in Applicant Personal Information

This is the most important section of the form. You must carefully fill in all required details.

Academic & Identification Details:

• IAT Application Number: This is crucial, as your admission is linked to your performance in IAT 2026

• Name of the Applicant
