IISER Bhopal, established in 2008, is one of the premier institutes of education and scientific research in India among the seven IISERs, dedicated to promoting cutting edge research and high quality science education.  Located in Bhauri, Bhopal, the Bhopal campus covers more than 200 acres. The institute offers a total of 5 academic programs in various disciplines, focusing on interdisciplinary research and innovation. In the NIRF 2024 ranking, IISER Bhopal ensured a prominent position between India's main science and research institutions. The institute mainly offers the BS-MS undergraduate program, a 5-year course designed to integrate undergraduate and postgraduate education with a strong research focus. In addition, IISER Bhopal provides Integrated doctoral and Doctoral doctoral programs for aspiring advanced research. Previously, the admissions were performed through three channels: Kvpy channel, Jee-Advanced and SCB (state and central tables).
