NCET 2026 Application Form will be released in the fourth week of February 2026. Candidates interested in admission to the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) courses can fill out the NCET 2026 registration form online through the official website, i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/NCET, by creating a registered account and providing the required details.

Before filling out the form, candidates are advised to carefully check the NCET 2026 eligibility criteria to avoid losing their candidature at any stage of the admission process. The registration form will remain available on the website for about a month, and the last date to submit the NCET 2026 application form will be announced soon.

The final submission of the application form must be completed by paying the NCET 2026 registration fee online through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI on the official website.

Successfully registered candidates will be allowed to edit incorrect details in their application form during the NCET 2026 application correction window, which will open after the registration deadline ends.

Age Limit

There is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2025, irrespective of their age, can appear in the NCET 2025 examination.

Note: The candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria (if any) of the Participating Universities..

Educational Qualifications

  1. The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, etc.

  2. Intermediate or two-year \ Pre-University examination conducted by a recognised Board/ University.

  3. Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.

  4. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.

  5. Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country is recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

  6. Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.

  7. Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.

How to Fill NCET 2026 Application Form

The NCET 2026 application process is long and extensive, which is why it is important for candidates to know the step-by-step procedure to fill out the application form. Check out the detailed process below:

Step 1: At first, applicants are required to visit the official website of NCET exam 2026 and click on the link mentioning- NCET 2026 Registration.

Step 2: While applying for the registration process, the foremost step for the candidates will be creating a registered account, which will be used to fill out the registration form, download the NCET 2026 admit card, the result and other important details.

Fill in the personal details requested, such as the candidate's name, family details, nationality, category, address, and other required information, as specified by the exam officials. Fill in the details and get the registered account details by verifying your mobile number and e-mail ID.

Step 3: Log in from the registered account and fill in the educational category, university programme, courses, and exam city preferences mentioned in the application form.

Step 4: Candidates are required to upload the documents required by the exam officials for registration.

Step 5: Cross-verify all the details by the candidates thoroughly. A successful submission of the application will be made by paying the NCET 2026 registration fee.
