JEE Main 2026: Important Events and Dates

JEE Main 2026 Application Dates
The JEE Main is conducted in two sessions: in January (Session 1) and April (Session 2). The JEE Main 2026 application process for both Session 1 and Session 2 has been closed.
The application form for the exam is made available online on the official JEE Main website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. After the conclusion of the application process, the exam authority provides candidates with the facility to correct specific details in the application form during the JEE application correction window.
JEE Main 2026 Exam Dates
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam was held from January 21 to 29, 2026. The exam dates for Session 2 are April 2 to 9, 2026. The exam will be conducted in Computer-based Test (CBT) mode.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Dates
The JEE Main 2026 admit card for Session 2 for the exams to be conducted on April 2 and 4, 2026 was released on March 29, 2026 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Admit cards for the April 5, 6, 7 and 8 exams will be available soon on the official website.
The admit card for Session 1 of the exam was released on January 17, 2026.
Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre. Without it, they will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
JEE Main 2026 Result Dates
Candidates get admission to JEE Main participating institutes based on the result of the exam. The JEE Main 2026 result for Session 2 will tentatively be released in the third week of April 2026 on the official JEE Main website.
The result will be made available as a scorecard. To download the JEE Main 2026 scorecard, candidates need to visit the JEE Main official website—jeemain.nta.nic.in, click on the result link, enter the application number and password, and submit these details.
