NCET 2026 exam dates specify the event-wise timeline for the upcoming 2026–2027 examination session. Candidates interested in pursuing 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) will be able to fill out the NCET 2026 application form from the fourth week of February 2026 (tentatively).

Before releasing the application form, NTA, the exam conducting authority, will publish the NCET 2026 notification, which is expected to be released in the fourth week of February 2026. The NCET 2026 exam for the 2026–2027 session is anticipated to be conducted from the fourth week of April 2026 in online mode.

NCET 2026 exam duration will be 180 minutes, and it will be held in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The test is expected to be conducted over multiple days, with two shifts each day.

Applicants must register for the NCET 2026 application form within the timeline specified by the exam officials. They will also be given an opportunity to edit any incorrect details submitted during registration. The NCET 2026 application correction window will be notified in due course.

The NCET 2026 admission process is long, extensive, and detailed. It can be difficult for candidates to remember all the important dates, such as the exam notification, application form, admit card, exam day, answer key, result, and counselling dates. Here are the NCET 2026 important dates and event timeline:

NCET 2026 Application Form

NCET 2026 registration process will start in the fourth week of February 2026, and the last date to fill out the application form will be notified in due course. In order to fill out the application form, candidates will be required to create a registered account on the official website and later fill in the details asked by the exam officials.

Successfully registered candidates will get the opportunity to edit the application form for the incorrect details filled.

NCET 2026 Admit Card

NCET 2026 hall ticket will be released in the fourth week of April 2026 at the official website. Test takers will be able to download the NCET 2026 admit card one day before the commencement of the examination.

The admit card is an essential document that the test takers need to carry to the examination centre, and will not be allowed to enter if they are not carrying it.  The NCET 2026 admit card carries the information like the applicant’s roll number, date and venue of the examination.

NCET 2026 Exam Date

The NCET 2026 exam date has yet to be notified by NTA, the examination conducting authority. However, based on the previous trends, it is anticipated that the NCTE 2026 exam is scheduled to be held in the fourth week of April 2026 in online/CBT mode for the duration of three hours. The exam will be held for multiple days, and each day, the exam will be held in two shifts in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

• Candidates are advised to report to the examination centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

• Entry will not be allowed after the gate closing time.

• The NCET 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts per day, each of 180 minutes duration.
