The NCET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held in the fourth week of April 2026 in online (CBT) mode for a duration of three hours. NCET 2026 Syllabus PDF

The NCET 2026 syllabus PDF will be released soon by the exam officials. The syllabus will have four sections. Under the Language section, candidates are required to choose two subjects from 38 available languages. In the Domain Subjects section, they can select a maximum of three subjects from 26 options based on their preferred specialization. Section 1 – Languages

There are 38 different languages available in this section. Candidates must choose any two languages (Language 1 and Language 2).

  • Two different Language papers are to be chosen.

  • Each Language paper will consist of 23 questions, out of which 20 questions need to be attempted.

Section 2 – Domain-Specific Subjects

A total of 26 Domain-Specific Subjects are offered under this section. Candidates may choose any three subjects as per the eligibility and requirements of the respective University/Institution.

  •  Three Domain-Specific subjects are to be chosen.

  • Each Domain-Specific subject will have 28 questions, out of which 25 questions need to be attempted.

Section 3 – General Test

This is a mandatory section for all candidates.

  • The General Test will consist of 28 questions, out of which 25 questions need to be attempted.

Note: Candidates need to select the language option for the Question Paper while filling up the NCET 2026 application form.

What if There is Discrepency in NCET 2026 Admit Card

After downloading the NCET 2026 admit card, if candidates are facing any discrepancy or error in their Admit Card, then they are advised to report it immediately to the National Testing Agency (NTA) for correction. Discrepancies in the admit card may include incorrect personal details, wrong exam centre, or issues with photograph/signature. Prior communication with the exam authority will ensure the candidate to have hassle free admission process at the examination day.

Here are the list of common discrepancies that a candidate can found in their admit cards:

  • Incorrect spelling of the candidate’s name or parent’s name

  • Wrong photograph or signature printed

  • Incorrect date of birth, category, or gender

  • Mismatch in exam date, time, or shift

  • Incorrect exam centre name or address

  • Missing or blurred details on the admit card

  • Issues with barcode or QR code on the admit card
