IISER 2026 Registration form has been released online on the official website ie., iiseradmission.in. The last date to fill out the IAT 2026 Application Form will be April 13, 2026 till 11:55 PM. Candidates who are interested in pursuing the 5-year BS-MS or 4-year BS/BTech degree programmes from IISERs, IITs, IISc, and IACS must fill out the IAT 2026 registration form online on the official website, iseradmission.in.
Successfully registered candidates who have committed some mistakes while filling out the IISER 2026 application form will get the opportunity to edit the registration form. The IAT 2026 application correction window will open on March 16, 2026 from 11 am onwards. The last date to edit the incorrect details will be April 18, 2026 upto 11:55 PM.
The IAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on June 7, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM in online (CBT) mode to test candidates’ domain knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical understanding in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The IISER Entrance Exam 2026 will be held in online mode for the duration of three hours. On the same day, after the successful conduct of the exam, the exam officials will release the IISER provisional answer key 2026 on the official website.

How can I fill out the IAT 2026 Application Form?
The IAT 2026 application form will be released on March 5, 2026 at iiseradmission.in. To fill out the form, they can use the following steps:
Visit the official website – iiseradmission.in.
Fill in the required details: email ID and phone number and generate a password to create a login/candidate registration account.
Enter your educational details and personal details.
Upload your passport-size photo and a scanned copy of your signature.

What are IAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2024 or 2025 or 2026 from an institute recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India with PCM, PCB or PCMB can apply for IAT. They must have at least three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics in Class XII.
Indian nationals, PIO/OCI holders, and foreign nationals are eligible for IISER 2026.
Foreign applicants must upload an equivalence certificate issued by AIU unless their board is COBSE recognised.

IISER Entrance Exam 2026 Shift Timings

IISER 2026 Application Process: The IAT registration 2026 will start on March 5, 2026 in online mode on the official website - iiseradmission.in. Interested applicants can fill out the application form by creating a registered account first. From the login credentials, fill in the personal and academic details, exam city preference, and course preference, and upload the required documents. Final submission of the form will be done by paying the IAT 2026 registration fee online via credit/debit card/net banking.

IISER 2026 Admit Card: To appear for the exam, successfully registered candidates need to download the admit card. The IAT hall ticket 2026 will be released in the on May 24, 2026, tentatively. The exam centre, venue, shift timings, exam date, and other important details regarding the exam will be mentioned in the IISER admit card 2026.
IISER Exam 2026: The IISER Entrance Exam 2026 will be conducted on June 7, 2026, tentatively in CBT mode for three hours. The exam officials will conduct the exam in one shift, specifically the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
IISER 2026 Answer Key: The exam officials will be publishing the IAT answer key 2026 on the same day after the conduct of the examination. Candidates must note that at first, the officials will release the IAT 2026 provisional answer key. Based on the objections received by the candidates, if found valid, the IAT 2026 final answer key will be announced.
IISER 2026 Result: After the release of the final answer key, based on the answers given in the key, the IAT 2026 result will be prepared. It is anticipated that the IISER result 2026 will be released in the fourth week of June 2026. Test-takers will be able to download their IAT 2026 rank card by logging in to their registered account. Candidates are advised to keep the result till the admission process is over.
IISER 2026 Counselling: To get admissions in the courses offered by the exam, test takers need to participate in the IAT 2026 counselling process. At first, fill out the counselling registration form. Based on the seat availability and registrations made, the IISER 2026 seat allotment list will be released in multiple rounds. IAT 2026 counselling registration will start in the last week of June 2026.
