Introduction

IISER Answer Key 2026 will be released by the exam officials on the same day after the successful conduct of the examination. At first, the IISER 2026 provisional answer key will be released by the exam officials in the fourth week of May 2026, tentatively.

Test takers will be able to check the correct answers marked by the exam officials and tally their IISER 2026 scores. The exam officials will also release the IAT 2026 student response sheet in order to check the responses made by them during the exam.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer given by the exam officials will be able to raise objections against the released IAT 2026 provisional answer key. Based on the corrections made in the provisional answer key, the IISER final answer key will be released in the fourth week of June 2026, tentatively.

Test takers can download the IAT 2026 answer key PDF (Provisional and Final answer key) by visiting the official website. Check out the steps to download the answer key from here:

Step 2: Click on the “IISER 2026 Provisional/Final Answer” link mentioned on the homepage of the official website.

Step 3: Check out the correct answers marked by the exam officials in the answer key.

Step 4: Tally the marks obtained in the examination.

How to Calculate Score Based on IISER Answer Key 2026

Candidates will be able to evaluate the marks scored by them in the examinations based on the IAT exam pattern 2025 and marking scheme. While checking the marks scored by them, candidates can follow the steps below to know the marks achieved by them for correct answers and deductions of marks for incorrect answers.

The marking scheme of the IISER Entrance Exam 2026 is as follows:

  • For every correct answer marked by the candidates, +4 marks will be given.
  • For every wrong answer marked by the candidates, a -1 mark will be deducted.
  • If the candidate has not answered any question, no marks will be awarded.
  • Calculate the number of correct answers and then multiply by 4
  • Calculate the number of incorrect answers.
  • Subtract the sum of incorrect answers from the sum of correct answers.
