It's a one-day conclave bringing together students, parents, educators, and distinguished scientists from ISRO, BARC, and premier institutions to inspire the next generation of scientists and promote a research-driven scientific culture in India.
SciAstra Diwas will take place on 28 February 2026, on the occasion of National Science Day. The event will be held at Auditorium, JSS University, Sector 62, Noida. It will be a full-day offline conclave featuring keynote talks, discussions, and interactive sessions with scientists.
SciAstra Diwas will welcome Dr. A. P. Jayaraman as the Chief Guest and Dr. Deepak Singh as the Guest of Honour. Both are experienced scientists who have worked closely with India’s leading research institutions. At the event, they will share insights from their own journeys in science, speak about research careers, and help students understand what lies beyond exams.

National Science Day is celebrated on February 28 every year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman in 1928, for which he won the Nobel Prize in Physics. This discovery put India on the global scientific map. We chose this date to honour India's scientific heritage while launching a movement for its future.
