What is the ISI Admission Test?

The Indian Statistical Institute Admission Test (ISI Admission Test) is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, for admissions to the following UG and PG courses offered at ISI campuses:

ISI BStat & BMath Admissions 2027: Non-Exam Pathway

The candidates who have been selected as INMO AWRADEES to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) in either 2026 or 2027 are exempted from the ISI Admission Test 2027. In simple words, they do not need to appear for the entrance test.

The number of seats for INMO AWARDEES is supernumerary, subject to a maximum of 5 seats. The selection to these supernumerary seats will be based on an

interview.

Like all other candidates, such candidates are also required to apply in the prescribed online application form for admission to the programme. Merely holding an INMO Certificate of Merit from

Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) or clearing any Math Olympiad organised by any other organisation will not suffice for waiver of written tests for selection to the programmes.

ISI Admission Test Counselling 2027

The counselling process for the ISI Admission Test 2027 will begin after the release of the merit list. Candidates selected in the merit list will be called to the respective campus where the programme they applied for is taught for document verification. After successfully completing the document verification, candidates will have to pay the fees to secure admission.
