NEST Counselling Process 2026
The NEST 2026 counselling for NISER Bhubaneswar and CEBS Mumbai is underway. For NISER, candidates first have to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) to participate in the admission process. Based on the NEST merit list and the submitted EoIs, NISER prepares an admission queue and invites eligible candidates for counselling and document verification. Candidates who are not allotted a seat in the first round but completed document verification are placed on a category-wise waiting list for subsequent admission rounds.
For UM-DAE CEBS, candidates are required to register separately on the official admission portal and submit their preferred major streams in order of priority. Seat allotment is carried out based on the NEST merit rank, reservation category, stream preferences, and seat availability. Candidates accepting a lower-preference stream remain eligible for upgradation in subsequent admission rounds. Thereafter, they will have to follow these steps:
Fill out the counselling registration form.
After the counselling registration, the admission queue will be released.
Selected candidates will have to visit NISER Bhubaneswar or DAE CEBS Mumbai and submit the required educational documents along with copies of ID proofs.
They must pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.
