NISER Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - DAE CEBS are accepting application forms for the NEST 2026 exam at nestexam.in until April 6, 2026. The exam will be held for admission to integrated MSc programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology offered by the two institutes.

NEST 2026 Application Process Steps
To apply for NEST 2026, use the following steps:
Visit the official NEST website – nestexam.in.
Click on the “Registration” option.
Enter your email address and mobile number.
Create a password and save all the details.
Log in again and enter these details: your personal and educational details and address for communication.
Upload your passport-size photo and a scanned copy of your signature.
Pay the application fee online using Net Banking, UPI or credit/debit card.
Submit the application and download its copy as a PDF.
NEST 2026 Exam Pattern
The question paper of NEST 2026 will include four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology. All four sections in the exam are compulsory. However, the marks from any three out of the four sections in which the candidate obtains the highest marks will be considered to prepare the NEST 2026 merit list.
Candidates will also have to obtain the “Section-Wise Minimum Admissible Score” (SMAS) to get selected in the NEST 2026 merit list.
