KCET Exam Pattern 2027 will be released by the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) upon the release of the information brochure. Based on previous-year trends, the KCET exam pattern is unlikely to be changed.

Students preparing for the exam must know the KCET 2027 exam pattern to understand the type of questions asked in the examination, marking scheme, time duration, exam format, and other details.

The KCET 2027 exam will be conducted in offline mode, with MCQ-based questions asked in the domain subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Each subject will have 60 questions, set by the examination authority, and a duration of 80 minutes will be allotted for each section for the test takers to solve the questions.

Depending on the course selected by the candidates, the subject combination needs to be chosen, and accordingly, the respective sections will be attempted. KCET 2027 Exam Pattern Highlights

The official KCET exam pattern 2027 is yet to be released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Based on the existing pattern, the exam is expected to be conducted in offline, OMR-based mode with 60 MCQs per subject and no negative marking.

KCET Exam Pattern 2027 and Marking Scheme

Based on the latest KCET exam pattern, the examination is expected to be conducted in offline, pen-and-paper mode and will comprise objective-type multiple-choice questions. Candidates should understand the exam pattern beforehand to familiarise themselves with the number of questions, subject-wise marks, exam duration, question format and marking scheme.

KCET Exam Pattern

The KCET 2027 question paper is expected to comprise 180 MCQs, with 60 questions from each subject. Physics and Chemistry are common subjects, while candidates appear for Mathematics or Biology, depending on their selected course. Each subject will carry 60 marks, and candidates will get 80 minutes to attempt each paper. The question paper is expected to be available in English and Kannada.

KCET Marking Scheme 2027

The KCET marking scheme 2027 is expected to remain similar to the existing pattern. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer, while no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Therefore, candidates can attempt questions even when they are unsure of the answer, as there is no negative marking.

KCET Syllabus 2027

The KCET 2027 syllabus is expected to be based on the 1st and 2nd PUC syllabi prescribed by Karnataka’s Department of Pre-University Education. It covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, depending on the course selected by the candidate.

Candidates should thoroughly cover both PUC levels and regularly practise previous years’ questions for effective preparation. The official 2027 syllabus will be released by KEA.
