NEET UG 2027 Exam Date: Notification, Exam Date, Registration, Eligibility, Pattern & Syllabus Details

The NEET 2027 exam date is yet to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the examination-conducting body. However, based on previous years' trends, the examination is expected to be held in the first week of May 2027 in offline (pen-and-paper) mode at multiple examination centers across the country.

The NEET 2027 shift timings are expected to remain 2 PM to 5 PM, and test takers are advised to reach the examination centre well in advance to ensure a smooth check-in process.

The exam officials will release  NEET 2027 registration form in the second week of April, 2027 tentatively. Interested applicants will given a month to fill out the application form and the last date to fill out the registration process will be notified in the due course time.

NEET 2027 Application Form

The NEET 2027 Application Form has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other allied programmes must complete the registration process within the specified deadline. During the application process, candidates are required to fill in their personal details, academic information, exam centre preferences, and upload the required documents such as photographs and signatures. Applicants must also pay the prescribed application fee to successfully submit the form.

The last date to fill out the NEET UG 2027 application form is March 11, 2027 upto 9 PM. Also, the last date to make the NEET UG 2027 registration fee is March 11, 2027, up to 11:50 PM.

NEET 2027 Application Correction Window

The NEET 2027 application form is expected to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. NEET 2027 Exam Date

The NEET 2027 exam is tentatively expected to be conducted in the first week of May 2027 in offline (pen-and-paper) mode across various examination centres in India and abroad. The examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of the examination will be 3 hours, and candidates will be evaluated on their conceptual understanding of the syllabus prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

NEET 2027 Admit Card

The NEET 2027 Admit Card will be released by NTA a few days before the examination. Registered candidates can download their admit cards by logging in to the official website using their application number and password/date of birth. The admit card will contain important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, reporting time, and exam day instructions. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre.

NEET 2027 Answer Key

After the successful completion of the exam, NTA will release the NEET 2027 provisional answer key along with the question papers and candidates’ recorded responses. This allows students to estimate their probable scores before the results are announced. Candidates will also be given an opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key by paying a prescribed fee per question. After reviewing the objections submitted by candidates, NTA will publish the final answer key.

NEET 2027 Result

The NEET 2027 Result will be declared online on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their scorecard by logging into their accounts. The scorecard will include details such as the candidate’s marks obtained, percentile score, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and qualifying status. Based on the results, candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to medical and dental colleges.

NEET 2027 Counselling

The NEET 2027 Counselling process will be conducted after the declaration of the results. The counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats will be organised by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while the 85% state quota counselling will be conducted by the respective state authorities. During counselling, candidates will need to register, fill in their preferred colleges and courses, and participate in the seat allotment rounds. Admission to medical colleges will be granted based on NEET rank, seat availability, reservation criteria, and choices filled by candidates.

NEET 2027 Shift Timings

The NEET 2027 examination will be conducted in a single shift in offline (pen-and-paper) mode by the National Testing Agency. Candidates must carefully follow the exam-day schedule mentioned on the admit card to avoid late entry or disqualification from the exam centre.
