The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, Berhampur (IISER Berhampur), will conduct the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 on Sunday, June 7, 2026, for admission to BS-MS, BTech and BS (Research) programmes offered by participating institutes.

Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to download their hall tickets by June 6, 2026 and carefully review the exam-day guidelines before heading to their allotted test centres.

According to the official admission portal, the IAT 2026 will be held in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (IST) in computer-based mode. The examination will have a duration of three hours. IAT 2026: Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates appearing for IAT 2026 should keep the following instructions in mind:

  • Carry a printed copy of the IAT 2026 admit card to the examination centre.

  • Bring a valid original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence.

  • Verify all details mentioned on the admit card, including name, roll number, exam centre, and reporting time.

  • Reach the examination centre early to avoid last-minute inconvenience.

  • Follow all instructions provided by the examination authorities and centre officials.

  • Preserve the admit card even after the examination, as it may be required during the admission process.

Items Not Allowed Inside the Examination Centre

Candidates should avoid carrying prohibited items, including:

  • Mobile phones

  • Smartwatches

  • Electronic gadgets

  • Metallic accessories and jewellery

  • Any unauthorised study material

Possession of restricted items may lead to disciplinary action as per examination rules.
