IISER 2024 Application Process:

The IISER 2024 application process is expected to commence in April 2024. To apply for the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test, candidates must visit the official Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research website and complete the registration process. Once registered, candidates can fill out the application form, providing their personal and academic details. During the application process, candidates will also be required to upload certain documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph and a scanned copy of their Class 12 mark sheet. IISER 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Before applying for the IISER Aptitude Test, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. The general eligibility criteria for the IISER Aptitude Test are as follows:

  • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals or PIO or OCI are only eligible to apply through the IAT 2024 channel. Non-Indian nationals are only eligible to apply through the IAT channel.
  • Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination with a science stream in 2022, 2023 or 2024 from a recognised board.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam. Candidates belonging to other categories should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.
  • Subject Requirements: Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

Note: These are the eligibility criterias for the year 2023. It may change this year but the chances for the same are less.

Admission Channels:

IAT is the only channel for admission into Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research. Eligibility Criteria for IAT channel is given below:

IAT Channel-

  • Candidate must appear for IAT 2024
  • IAT is usually conducted in mid-June
