Subject-wise Question Paper Analysis
Physics Analysis
Physics emerged as the most challenging section in IAT 2025. Questions focused more on conceptual understanding rather than direct formula application. Topics such as Electrostatics, Rotational Motion, Waves, and Modern Physics received higher weightage. Many candidates reported that Physics consumed the maximum time during the examination.
Chemistry Analysis
Chemistry was largely NCERT-oriented and balanced across Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry. Questions from Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compounds, Electrochemistry, and Aldehydes & Ketones were prominent. Students generally considered Chemistry one of the more manageable sections.
Mathematics Analysis
The Mathematics section was moderate in difficulty. Questions were distributed across Calculus, Functions, Probability, Vectors, and Coordinate Geometry. While most questions were solvable, some required lengthy calculations and strong analytical skills.
Biology Analysis
Biology was the easiest and most scoring section for many candidates. Most questions were directly based on NCERT concepts, particularly from Genetics, Molecular Biology, Human Physiology, Cell Biology, and Plant Physiology. Candidates with NEET preparation found this section relatively straightforward.
