The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, will conduct the ISI Admission Test 2026 on May 10, 2026, for BMath, BStat, MStat, and MMath courses offered at different campuses of ISI in India. The test will be held at test centres across the country.

The exam pattern of this entrance is not like the other science entrance exams. It depends on the marking scheme and sections in the question paper of each course, in which candidates get +1 mark for unattempted questions. Check out the ISI Admission Test Pattern 2026 here.

ISI Admission Test 2026 Pattern (BStat & BMath)

There will be three phases in the ISI Admission Test 2026 for undergraduate courses (BStat and BMath). These phases (sections) are as follows:

  • Undergraduate Aptitude Test (A) - UGA (Objective Questions)

  • Undergraduate Aptitude Test (B) - UGB (Subjective Questions)

  • Interview
