IISER Mohali Fees 2026-27
IISER Mohali offers three types of courses: BS-MS Dual Degree, PhD, Int PhD and Post Doc Programmes. The fee structures for BS-MS Dual Degree and PhD courses have been mentioned below.
IISER Mohali Fee 2026 for 5-Year Integrated BS-MS Dual Degree
The integrated BS-MS at IISER-Mohali is a dual-degree programme designed to enable students with a comprehensive, hands-on, and research-orientated education in basic sciences.
BS-MS Dual Degree Eligibility
Candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent level exam with Science stream in 2021 or 2022 from any board recognised by the Council of Boards School Education in India (COBSE) with at least a 60% aggregate or equivalent (55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD) to apply for the BS-MS (dual degree) programme.
Aspirants must be an Indian national or PIO or OCI to apply for admission.
BS-MS Dual Degree Admission Process
Admission to the BS-MS Dual Degree offered by IISER Mohali is done through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), an entrance exam for admission to UG courses at IISERs. IISc Bengaluru, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IACS Kolkata, and IIEST Shibpur also accept IAT scores for admission to courses offered through IAT 2026.
The IAT 2026 exam will be conducted on June 7, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM in online mode at test centres across India.
The last date to fill out the IAT 2026 application form is April 13, 2026 at iiseradmission.in.

IISER Mohali Fee 2026 for PhD
The PhD programme at IISER Mohali involves coursework, a qualifying examination, thesis work and a thesis examination, leading to the award of a PhD degree. Besides research, the scholars are involved in several activities such as helping the faculty as teaching assistants in theory courses and laboratory sessions. PhD students are also expected to participate actively in seminars, journal clubs, workshops, etc. There is considerable interaction amongst students at different levels and PhD students contribute significantly to mentoring fifth-year MS students in research laboratories.
PhD Programme Eligibility and Admission Process
The applicant should have a Master’s degree / B.Tech / MBBS / M.Tech / M.Pharm with a good academic record (at least 60% and above) and should be GATE / CSIR-UGC (JRF/LS) / ICMR-JRF / ICAR-NET / DBT-JRF / DBT-BINC / DST-INSPIRE qualified in the relevant subject or other national-level fellowship or sponsored fellowships by private or state agencies.
