University of Hyderabad Admission Through CUET 2026: The admission branch of the University of Hyderabad has recently announced that admissions to the 4-year Bachelor’s programmes and the 5-year/6-year Integrated PG programmes for the academic year 2026–27 will be conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026.
The CUET UG 2026 notification has been released, and the registration process is currently underway. Candidates interested in studying at the University of Hyderabad must register through CUET UG 2026. The last date to fill out the CUET UG 2026 application form is January 30, 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the examination from May 11, 2026, to May 31, 2026, in online/CBT mode at multiple examination centres across India and abroad.

UoH 2026 Eligibility Criteria Through CUET UG
Candidates desiring to apply to the 4 -Year Bachelor’s programme and 5-Year/6-Year Integrated PG programmes of the University have to appear for the Domain and Language papers as mentioned. The CUET exam domain and language papers are categorised as CORE and QUALIFYING for clarity.
A. Core Papers: The merit list for the Integrated PG programmes will be determined based on the scores of the candidates inthe paper/s identified as core paper/s. Rank list for admission will be prepared in the order of merit based on the score in the core paper/s.
B. Qualifying Papers: Candidates are required to score a minimum cut-off of 50 marks in the qualifying papers (35 marks for IMA Hindi, IMA Urdu and IMA Telugu) to be considered for admission to the Integrated PG programmes. Only those candidates who score the minimum cut-off marks in the qualifying papers will be considered for admission, irrespective of their scores in the core paper/s. Themarks scored in the qualifying papers will not affect the rank

As we know, admission to the Central University of Hyderabad (University of Hyderabad) for the academic session 2026–27 will be conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. Filling out the CUET UG 2026 Application Form:
Candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam authorities can fill out the CUET UG 2026 application form by creating a registered account and entering the required details. Final submission of the application form will be completed after paying the CUET UG 2026 registration fee. The application window will remain open from January 3, 2026, to January 30, 2026.

Successfully registered candidates will be able to download the CUET UG 2026 admit card by logging in to their registered accounts. The admit card will contain details such as the examination centre, shift timings, roll number, and other important information. Prior to the release of the admit card, the NTA will issue the CUET UG 2026 city intimation slip.
Appear for CUET UG 2026 Examination:
The NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2026 examination from May 11, 2026, to May 31, 2026, at multiple examination centres to assess candidates’ domain knowledge in their chosen subjects. Release of CUET UG 2026 Result:
The exam authorities will release the CUET UG 2026 result after the successful completion of the examination. Although the official result date has not yet been announced, based on previous years’ trends, the CUET UG 2026 result is tentatively expected in the first week of July 2026.
Registration for CUET UG 2026 Counselling through the UoH Portal:
Until the declaration of results, the entire process is managed by the NTA. However, the counselling process is conducted individually by each participating CUET university. Candidates who selected the University of Hyderabad during the application process must register separately for CUET UG 2026 counselling through the official UoH admission portal within the specified timeline.
Release of CUET UG 2026 Merit List/Cut-Off:
Based on the number of registrations received during counselling and the availability of seats for each programme, the University of Hyderabad will release the CUET UoH 2026 merit list or cut-off in a phase-wise manner, depending on seat vacancy status.
The university will publish course-wise cut-off marks and merit lists based on CUET UG scores, category-wise reservations, seat availability, and programme-specific eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates must participate in the online counselling and seat allocation process, during which they will be required to fill in their course preferences.
Physical Counselling/ Document Verification:
Finally, candidates who are allotted seats must complete the document verification and fee payment within the stipulated timeline to confirm their admission. Failure to complete any stage of the admission process may lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
